An exclusive concert of one of the few performers in the UK of the ancient wire strung harp. An evening of enchanting music that will take you back in time. Alessia graduated from the Conservatory in Pedal and Lever Harp in 2006 and later specialized in the Wire Strung Harp and in the ancient repertoire of Ireland and Scotland. She's been teaching different types of harp for 20 years and she is now one of the few performers in the UK of the ancient Wire Strung Harp. She plays a copy of the 'Downhill' harp, an early 18th-century Irish instrument.
